About Our Product

Vim and Vigor is a result of an old family recipe which has been handed down through generations of Kentucky Mountain Folks. Using old world methods, we carefully produce extractives of 14 organic American-grown herbs. We slowly percolate the herbs until just the right time and combine them with liquid aged apple cider vinegar and apple and grape juices. The result is a solution with the ingredients everyone wants. No alcohol is used in making our product.

Thinking back to when we were just kids, the memory of visiting Grandma's house is still vivid.....Each morning, she would pull a jug out of her icebox(only the rich folk had those fancy refrigerators) and pour just a little into a jelly jar glass. When we asked what it was, her reply was "It's my recipe that gives me my Vim and Vigor". It turns out that the recipe had been handed down from generation to generation going all the way back to her great great great Grandma. That's seven generations spanning over 120 years.

Grandma's recipe proved to be pretty good stuff, until the day she died, at the age of 94, she carried water from the spring up to her house everyday. She just wouldn't consider indoor plumbing. She was walking home from church on night and was hit and killed by a truck carrying moonshine liquor. What a lady! We miss her. b>

We have revived this recipe so that you can benefit from this unique concoction. Grandma always said her recipe would "help what ails ya". The use of medicinal herbs is sometimes misunderstood and is often ridiculed by some within the medical profession. Rather than studying the history of herbal medicines, many of the young doctors of today choose to ignore it in favor of high-tech, chemical-laden, high-priced pharmaceuticals which are supported by millions of dollars of advertising and promotion. We believe that there is a place for herbs, used properly, right along side the thousands of synthetic drugs on the market today.
